LOW LIGHT PISTOL SKILL BUILDER with OnSight Firearms Training

Class start at 4:00pm, students should arrive no later than 3:45pm for set up, safety and first aid briefing.

PLEASE READ:
This class is designed to introduce the intermediate or advanced shooter to the art of defensive and tactical pistol shooting and low light / no light techniques.
Students must be proficient with working from a holster, and should have a solid understanding of how to deliver accurate hits on target from various distances, with two and single handed shooting.
This is a great opportunity for the experienced shooter to learn and try new drills and movements as well as refresh skills.

– Firearms safety / First aid trauma care briefing
– Gear discussion
– Warm-up drills
– Ready positions
– Drawing and re-holstering techniques from concealment
– Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills
– Search & scan / situational awareness
– Single hand techniques (right and left and transitions)
– Moving and shooting / shooting and moving
– Failure drills
– Presentation & draw techniques
– Low light pistol skills
EQUIPMENT LIST:
-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in .380, 9mm, 40, or 45ACP calibers.
-4 magazines minimum
-Minimum of 400 rounds of ammunition
-Quality kydex holster —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, Uncle Mikes, Fobus, Alien Gear, Crossbreed, “hybrid”, or leather, holsters. We recommend holsters from Dark Star Gear, Raven Concealment, Blackpoint Tactical, Concealment Express, 508 Holsters, Black Center Tactical, C&G Holsters & G-Code.
-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.
-Ammunition dump pouch (optional)
-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide
-QUALITY Hand held flashlight – Modlite, Cloud Defense, SureFire, Streamlight, etc.
-Weapon mounted light for your pistol (optional).
-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.
-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.
-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
-Earmuffs and earplugs
-Notebook and pen for note taking
-Lunch, snacks and beverages to last through out the day.
-Humble willing to learn attitude
