Audition Notice: God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza

Ajax Community Theatre is auditioning for their second show of the 25/26 season, God of Carnage, by Yasmina Reza and directed by Dave Edwards. The auditions will be held on May 25th at 2:00 pm and May 26th at 7:30 pm at the Village Community Centre, 22 Sherwood Rd. West, Ajax. Callbacks will be on Thursday, May 29th at 7:30 pm if necessary. The auditions will consist of cold readings of selected scenes, and no appointment is necessary. A resume would be helpful. The play explores themes of social decorum, parental roles, and human nature and offers a darkly comedic look at the complexities of human relationships and the fragility of societal norms. The play will run from February 27th to March 7th, 2026, at the St. Francis Centre, with tech and dress rehearsals from February 22nd to 26th. All cast and crew must be available on these dates, and rehearsals will start late November at the Village Community Centre.
