Deco In Style: 100 Years

Step back into the glamour of the 1920s with lecturer Amy Benjamin as she explores the dazzling world of Art Deco for “Deco in Style: 100 Years.”

The magnificent decorative arts style known as Art Deco was officially introduced to the world at the Paris Exhibition in 1925. To celebrate its centennial, Amy will give an illustrated talk about Deco in architecture, interiors, clothing, jewelry, ocean liners, railroad cars, accessories, and toys of the 1920s. Enjoy learning about the Deco treasures of Paris, Miami, Los Angeles, and, of course, the greatest Deco city of all—New York!
