Join the Nunn Christmas Bird Count (CBC)! 🐦
Ready to contribute to nearly 60 years of birding history? The Nunn Christmas Bird Count is one of the longest-running conservation efforts in Northern Colorado, beginning all the way back in 1966!
We invite you to join us for a day birding the beautiful short-grass prairie of the Pawnee National Grasslands, just north of Nunn, Colorado. This count circle covers a vital, unique ecosystem and provides essential data on our winter bird populations. It's a fantastic chance to experience the prairie in the winter and contribute to citizen science.
Your participation matters! Whether you are an experienced birder or a keen beginner, we welcome your help in covering this historic count circle.
Compiler: Cliff Hendrick (taking the lead this year as Robert Beauchamp is traveling).
For more information, to learn the count date, or to register your participation, please contact Cliff directly:
