Together we will explore differing breathwork methods from yogic teachings that participants can take away and incorporate into daily lives, whether that be as a focused practice time or at points of stress or anxiety and seeking a way to regulate the system.
We will also practice specific asanas, using guided practice and props exploring how we enhance and build our confidence within each, whether it be a balance or stretch. Again incorporating the breath as we hold, breathe into the pose and, with some (if agreed) hands on adjustments, we will continue to learn, grow and release within our practice, in a safe, compassionate place.
As part of the workshop I will also provide information on the key benefits of each pose - physically and emotionally - of what areas of the body, our health and our emotions each asana aligns to.
I will also be weaving in aspects of yogic philosophy drawing on the eight limbs of yoga throughout.
Each participant will be provided with guided asana sheets with the information included to take away and use at home.
We will finish the session will a gentle guided mediation linked to a specific chakra and release, after which participants can opt to stay and chat, ask questions, have a drink and snack or head home. It's your time. It's your investment.
