“Ladies, we invite you to the Feast of Trumpets celebration on Tuesday, September 23rd!
The Feast of Trumpets—called Yom Teruah in the Bible—is a day set apart by God as a holy gathering marked with the sound of the trumpet (shofar) (Leviticus 23:23–25). It is:
• 🎺 A wake-up call to return our hearts fully to God
• 🙏 A season of renewal and reflection as we prepare for His presence
• 👑 A prophetic promise that points us to the day when the trumpet will sound at Christ’s return (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)
• 🍯 A celebration of new beginnings, often marked with sweet foods like apples dipped in honey, symbolizing God’s blessings in the year ahead
This will be a potluck-style gathering where each of us will bring a dish to share. You’re encouraged to bring something meaningful to the feast, such as:
• Apples & honey for sweetness
• Round challah or bread for eternity and wholeness
• Pomegranates, grapes, or figs for fruitfulness
• Chicken, rice, or stuffed vegetables for abundance
• Honey cake or pastries for joy and blessing
Come ready for worship, fellowship, food, and the joy of celebrating God’s appointed time together. Let’s lift up our voices like trumpets and rejoice in His goodness!”
Please RSVP by September 21st
