Women’s Chronic Pain Support Group
Facilitated by Jo Stratford-Whittingham
Living with chronic pain can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. But you don’t have to face it alone. This peer-led support group is a safe, understanding space where women with chronic pain can connect, share experiences, and offer each other encouragement, validation, and practical strategies.
What to Expect:
A Community That Understands You
No need to explain or justify your pain—this group is made up of women who “just get it.” Together, we foster deep empathy, mutual support, and real connection.
Open & Honest Discussions
Share your struggles and victories without fear of dismissal. Topics may include:
Navigating daily life with chronic pain
Managing emotional ups and downs
Relationships, work, and finding balance
Self-advocacy in medical settings
Practical Coping Strategies
Explore tools that support your well-being, including:
✔ Breathwork & relaxation techniques
✔ Gentle movement & restorative yoga
✔ Sleep & stress management
✔ Nutrition & lifestyle adjustments
Empowering & Peer-Led
Rather than relying on professionals for advice, this group is about learning from each other. While I’ll facilitate discussions and introduce tools for nervous system regulation and pain management, the heart of this group remains peer-driven and responsive to your needs.
