𝗥𝗲:𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 is Lakefront’s first immersive residency (15–20 June), led by our Experiential Futures Lead, 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝗻𝗲𝗺 𝗘𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 and co-hosted by musicians and artists 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘆𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗭𝘂𝗿𝘇𝗼𝗹𝗼, 𝗢𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗷𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗮̊𝘀, 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗵, 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗼, 𝗛𝗮̊𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗯𝗼.
..where artists, carpenters, sound hackers & improvisers come together to explore the 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 🌀
We’ll repurpose old pianos, build new instruments, hack sound systems, and awaken the sonic soul of forgotten materials and redefine the future of resonance. It all culminates in a one-of-a-kind concert on June 19.

About some of the co-hosts:
Kenzo Zurzolo is a Classical artist crafting music alternatively. After a decade of supporting other artists as a musician, he is now primarily focused on personal projects and film scoring.
Featuring a blend of piano, vintage synthesizers, electronic soundscapes, and soaring strings, Kenzo’s sensibility takes roots from the works of Debussy, Bill Evans and Philip Glass, while incorporating contemporary influences from artists like Olafur Arnalds or Max Richter. His music comes from a deep place within, where listening represents a heightened state of awareness and connects to all that there is.
Eugene Feygelson is a Paris-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and researcher whose violin work spans from MTV Unplugged with Liam Gallagher to film scores like Under the Skin and The Ritual. He founded the i=u festival (2014–2020), fostering improvisation across NYC and London, and holds a PhD on nonverbal communication in improvisation from King’s College London. Eugene’s expertise has shaped music education and innovation at institutions like Trinity Laban, Apple Music, and Twitter.
Olle is a Stockholm based artist and craftsman, working with wood, steel, plastic and electronics to create playful installations and events with immersive elements. His expression ranges from light installations and enormous fractals to playgrounds and conceptual works with artistical solutions to infrastructure problems.
Sofi Lee-Henson is a multidisciplinary artist and maker in the field of immersive wellness. Through objects, experiences, cults, she is dedicated to helping people feel better.
