Little Sound Dj was born out of the Swedish demoscene and quickly became a driving force within the vibrant 8-bit movement during the 2000s. The program inspired creators worldwide and was a central part of a subculture that thrived on embracing and pushing technological limitations to create innovative music and art.
This evening, we celebrate LSDj's enormous and lasting influence on generations of musicians, designers, and DIY enthusiasts.

Eat Rabbit - the man of a thousand faces, the prince of metamorphosis, the king of escape. A rabbit, a dolphin, a shapeshifter. First spotted in the early 2000s on the chiptune scene around Micromusic, this peculiar creature has more than one trick up his sleeve and wears more than one hat: electrifying live performer, musical activist in Lyon, core member of Musiques Incongrues. His music? A psychodynamic blend wrapped in craziness and humor. Think of a rabbit who's spent far too long listening to FM radio. Since 2005, this furry weirdo has toured the world with artists from the alternative scene. Get ready to dive into his rabbit hole.

From Vancouver, Canada, bryface is an electronic music producer known for his innovative approach to chipmusic. Covox, alias Thomas Söderlund from Stockholm, is a pioneer in Swedish electronic music, acclaimed for his unique Gameboy pop – a melodic, high-energy, and romantic style with strong influences from 80s synth music. Known for his nostalgic sounds, intense rhythms, and playful aesthetics, Covox had his international breakthrough with the album "Delete The Elite" (2005). He has since toured worldwide and continues to explore the intersection of chiptune, synthwave, and electronic pop.

Niklas Sjösvärd, better known as Zabutom, is a chiptune and electronic music producer from Gothenburg with roots in the demoscene. Since the early 2000s, he has been known for his skill in combining retro game sounds with modern electronic elements. Albums like "Zeta Force" (2011) were acclaimed for their intense 16-bit sounds and epic compositions, while later works such as "Redux34" (2015) showcase a creative breadth with influences from electro, prog rock, and IDM, often in complex soundscapes.

William Rickman, known as Random, is a Swedish chiptune artist who has dedicated his music creation to the Game Boy since 2004. Random has toured internationally and was one of the forces behind Stockholm's Microdisko, a celebration of chip music and digital art.
The C-Men (NL)
The C-Men is the visual performance alias of Dutch artist Julian van Aalderen, internationally recognized for his groundbreaking work in live visuals (VJing) and audiovisual installations. Based in Enschede, Julian has been a pioneering figure in the global VJ and chiptune scenes for over two decades, blending retro computing aesthetics with modern design sensibilities. Using dual Commodore Amiga 1200 computers, he creates a unique visual style rooted in 8-bit and demoscene culture, filled with pixel art, glitch graphics, and rhythmic abstraction.
