Hello beautiful people!
Since it was very appreciated last summer, we're again organizing a joint acroyoga & zouk jam! 😀
🌞 Join us on Monday at Sprallen (Hammarby slussväg 15) from 18 o'clock!
💃🕺 At 18-19 o'clock there will be an open level zouk workshop by Thérèce and her dance partner Johannes for those who want to try it out. And at 19-22 o'clock the zouk will continue in the form of a social, where people dance zouk freely to music. More information about the zouk event in the original fb-event below:

🤸♂️ At 19 o'clock local teacher Chantell with special surprise guest Mark Flieg, her acrobatics partner from Seattle, will offer a free beginner L-basing partner acrobatics class. 🙌🏻 No prior experience or fitness level required, only a willingness to try new things! Experienced acrobats are also very welcome to join and help beginners start their journey. Bring comfortable clothes and a picknick blanket or yoga mat. 😄
🤸♂️💃🕺After the acro class there will be an acro jam in parallel with the zouk social.
💞 Our hope is that zoukers and acro yogies will dare to intermingle and try out both of these amazing activities during the evening!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to anyone of us organizers. Hope to see you there! 😎
💡About the acro teachers:
Chantelle's practice was founded in strong flyer-driven L-basing, but has expanded to include Icarian and standing modalities as well. Her first and greatest love is L-basing because of its creative elements and interesting transitions. Acrobatics is for her about community and communication. Chantelle's teaching style focuses heavily on progressions and empowering partnerships to communicate their needs in healthy ways. She also believe in the art of spotting as its own path to master and emphasize quality spotting and accurate self-assessment as requisite for building a sustainable practice.
Mark Flieg has been practicing acro for over 8 years and completed teacher training with Lux (Seattle Acro) in May 2024. He is especially passionate about spotting, emphasizing safety via spotting as both a dedicated role and as the responsibility of bases and flyers. His focus has been on L-basing techniques and refining flows, poses, and structure to build your practice.
