Anxiety Anchors Group Therapy

Do you feel nervous, restless, or tense regularly? Are you always on the edge of panic, fear, or bracing yourself for the worst? Do you constantly worry about the future? If so, this group is for you!

Group therapy is a powerful tool in assisting individuals who struggle with anxiety by:

• Creating a community that reduces feelings of isolation and shame
• Learning coping skills in a supportive environment
• Receiving feedback and encouragement from peers
• Providing accountability to each other

Sessions will focus on:

• learning how the brain and body react to stress and ways to reverse the cycle
• exploring physical, emotional, and cognitive symptoms of anxiety
• practicing grounding exercises to stay present in moments of anxiety
• mastering breathwork for instant relief
• replacing negative thought patterns with more constructive ones
• strengthening your endurance to face stressors and reduce overwhelm

This group is facilitated by licensed therapists at Total Life Counseling and Wellness Center. Sessions are offered biweekly, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. No commitment required, so you may drop in on sessions as desired. Contact us if you are interested in purchasing a package of sessions at a discounted rate.

Refunds are available up to 5 days before your scheduled session. After the cutoff, if you are unable to make your scheduled session, the paid amount may be transferred to a future session for up to 60 days.
