Brain Chips and Elon Musk - with Dr Calum McKellar and Dr Danielle de Zeeuw - an in depth ethical examination on how neuronal interfaces may support an interaction between mind and cyberspace. How will these impact us in the future. 2. How Should Christians Engage with Contemporary Society - with David Nixon. How did Jesus engage with his society, compared to today and how can this guide us as Christians working for Scotlands future. 3. Citizenship: A response to the Far Right, with Dr W E Bulmer. Are we being deceived by Christian imagery into supporting populism? 4. Christians in the Media - with Lois McClatchie. How can Christians engage with the media in the UK today.
Info: our survey last year gave a really interesting picture of how denominations in Scotland speak into the public square. With representatives from main denominations in Scotland we will delve deeper and understand where they are coming from and how our churches can engage better in Scotland today.
