TEC Swim Ride at Sassafras Natural Resources Management Area

Event is dependent on water quality readings taken during the week. Watch the original event post on Friday 7/18/25 for confirmation.

In the saddle at 10am.
We will ride a mile or so from parking lot to swimming area. (Longer trails are available also.)
Bring old shoes to wear in the water.

Directions:
Sassafras Natural Resources Management Area
Rt 213 N from Chestertown to Kennedyville, L in Kennedyville on Kennedyville Rd, 2 miles, cross Rt 298, 2 more miles on L, (1mile past Bloomfield Rd), big sign: Sassafras River Natural Resources Management Area, go thru YELLOW gates and up LONG gravel rd to parking lot (do not go thru the 2nd or 3rd sets of yellow gates (on the L) on the way up the driveway.)
