The good weather appears to be carrying on beyond summer (knock on wood). This gives us a chance to extend our Archery season!
There will be a Ruantallan Baronial Archery practice on Saturday October 11, 2025 at our usual site, the Quarry at Moo Nay Farms (15211 NS-224 Cooks Brook Nova Scotia ) . The timing will be the same as previous practices i.e. set up at 1 pm. going until 5 pm or so.
We will probably go to Lin Garden in Elmsdale for supper after we shoot, as has become tradition.
Even though it is getting later in the year Sunscreen may still be a good idea, and Bringing water is always a good idea, it is a dusty site after all. A hat, chairs, and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting dusty should also be on your list to pack.
With a little cooperation from mother nature this will give all archers a chance to get some more practice and a few more royal rounds in, Which is great because the number of Archers Ruantallan has on the East Kingdom Royal Round Rankings has been growing of late. Which is very encouraging to see.
