From prevention to wound care to CPR techniques you'll gain invaluable insights fostering a deeper understanding and sense of confidence to manage your dog's health and safety.
Topics covered include how to identify and treat different types of poison exposures hyperthermia and hypothermia as well as wound care including bandaging for different types of cuts and abrasions broken bones and impalements. If you are professional dog walker groomer boarding facility or dog trainer this course is eligible for IAABC CE credits and may even reduce your insurance premiums!
All training supplies are provided during the course including a 130 + page manual a framable certificate and a wallet size Canine First Aider card that includes canine vitals on the back for quick and easy reference. Dummy dogs are used to practice CPR and First Aid skills.

A full refund will be given to cancelations made 7 days prior to the date of the course. A $25 processing fee will be charged for cancelations made 3-7 days prior to the class. All other cancelations will be given a credit for a future course.
Inclement Weather Policy:
In inclement weather the decision to cancel will be guided by, the presence of rainfall or snow, its density and expected duration, the presence or likelihood of thunderstorms and the presence and strength of strong winds. Those who have paid in advance will receive a full refund or credit for the rescheduled date at their discretion.
