PaddleQuest 2025: Can you dig it?

Held annually since 2002, This is PaddleQuest - a two day paddling-based adventure contest in Stevens Point on the flowage in the world of The Backwaters. You and your team of two or three will paddle out Saturday morning from The Waters Pub with map in hand to hunt down checkpoints to complete challenges, play games, meet the charatcers, hunt trash, and locate magic items. At the end of the day Saturday teams are scored and live music and camping will be offered from The Waters. There are two classes- team of 3 (class A) and teams of two (class B). Canoes are generally a better option as they keep your team all together, but kayaks/SUPs are acceptable as well, note that kayaking teams may not split up.

On Sunday teams will paddle out yet again to compete in the alliance games - summer camp style games with your newfound alliance. Teams paddling on Sunday earn a bonus and the teams on the winning alliance earn an additional bonus! Follwing the games the ceremony will be held promptly at The Waters ending at 2:30 pm. The winning team will earn prizes offered by local sponsors and the glory of the title - "protectors".

The world of The Backwaters is made possible by character volunteers who have a storyline that continues from year-to-year. While is is not absolutely neccesary to know the story details, there is a continuing narrative that will change based on the outcomes of the event.
