Haunted Threes Tournament
The Haunted Threes is a fun 3-on-3 hockey tournament that follows the rules of the video game EA Sports NHL Three's, but in real life!
2025 Tournament Dates and Times:
10U Division - Monday, October 20 9:00am - 11:30am
12U Division - Monday, October 20 12:10pm - 2:40pm
For those not familiar with the NHL video game, here are the rules:
To play the game "money pucks" and "minus pucks" will be randomly generated. When "money pucks" are scored, the scoring team earns the points scored. When "minus pucks" are scored, the scoring team receives 1 point while the opposing team looses either 1 or 2 points depending on the generated number.
Teams are comprised 6 skaters and 1 goalie. Teams create their own team names and jerseys. Halloween themes are encouraged.
Games are 10-minutes of continuous play. If a goal is scored, the team that gave up the goal can pull the puck from the net and begin play immediately.
No body checking is allowed.
No coaches or coaching allowed.
