About the event

Disappearing Night Skies

On June 14th at 2 PM, there will be a program presented by a Girl Scout Gold Star recipient and High School National Honor Society inductee on "Disappearing Night Skies". Her program gives insight into the effects of light pollution. You will hear about concerns over the effects on Wildlife, personal safety, as well as the loss of visibility of the night sky. The presentation is open to all and is being held at Bowman Library in Stephens City.
