A thrilling journey through time, style and sensation to open our 20th Anniversary Festival.

Max Richter’s mesmerising Recomposed: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons opens the evening, with festival favourite Daniel Rowland bringing his signature flair to this 21st-century reimagining of Vivaldi’s beloved classic.

After the interval, experience the South African premiere of Olli Mustonen’s Concerto for Three Violins and String Orchestra – an electrifying work performed by violin virtuosi Andrey Baranov, Daniel Rowland and Nicolas Dautricourt, under the baton of the charismatic Antony Hermus.

To top off the night: Ravel’s hypnotic Bolero, performed by the full SICMF 2025 faculty — a powerful finale by some of the finest musicians on the international stage featuring Fashion by Erre and Roman Handt as well as Figure of 8 Dance Theatre.
