The concert begins with Janáček’s deeply expressive Dumka for Violin and Piano, filled with folk-inspired melodies and poignant lyricism. Then, experience Smetana’s passionate and profoundly personal Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15, a work brimming with emotional intensity and dramatic contrasts.

After intermission, enjoy the warmth and romantic exuberance of Dvořák’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in D Major, Op. 23, a joyful piece celebrating Czech nationalism with vivid melodies, lively rhythms, and radiant harmonies.
