Celebrate the 4th of July at Howelsen Hill! Watch 80 of the nation’s best nordic combined and ski jumping athletes as they soar 225 feet over the crowd from the HS75 jump! Bring a chair or blanket and a shade umbrella to claim your spot on the grass, and pick up lunch from the food trucks on site! No outside alcohol is allowed, but cool beverages, including cold beer from B&K Distributing and libations from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, will be available for purchase.
This competition wows spectators of all ages, stop by Howelsen Hill following the parade for ski jumping in July! The competition starts at 11 a.m. on the 4th of July, right after the parade. Check out the ski jumping competition on July 3rd and the running and roller ski race downtown on July 4th just before the parade!

Sunday, June 29: Ski Jump Training, 8:30-11 a.m
Monday, June 30: Ski Jump Training, 8:30-10:30 a.m. (U10/U12 Training 9:30-11 a.m.)
Tuesday July 1: Ski Jump Training, 8:30-10 a.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. (U10/U12 Open Training 9:30-11 a.m.)
Wednesday, July 2: Ski Jump Training, 8-10 a.m., 4-5:30 p.m. (U10/U12 Open Training 9:30-11 a.m.)
Thursday, July 3: HS8, HS45, and HS75 Ski Jump Competition - 9 a.m.-Noon (HS = Hill Size)
Friday, July 4:
Nordic Combined Competition - Prior to the 4th of July Parade:
1K Run (on Lincoln Ave) - 9:15 a.m.
3K Roller Ski Race (on Lincoln Ave) - 9:30 a.m.
Elimination Jump Competition - 11:00 a.m. (following the parade) - 2 p.m.
