Koiro Duo Concert - work-in-progress presentation at KRA

Join Koiro Duo at KRA - Kunst Rom Arbeid, for an open work-in-progress presentation during their artistic residency in Stavanger.

Formed by Manuel Rosales (Argentinian - guitar & voice) and Stephanie Kobori (Brazilian - clarinet & voice), Koiro Duo explores Argentinian Brazilian and Andean folk music repertoire, as well as their own compositions in these styles through an intimate acoustic sound.

During the residency, they collaborate with Eduardo Scaramuzza (Brazilian - percussion), Stavanger-based artist, recording six pieces for their debut EP “A Beira do Norte”.

This informal sharing offers a glimpse into the creative process behind the music and invites the local community to experience the project as it takes shape.
