đđ 50 Fishes â 6th Anniversaryđđ
Six years ago, this was just an idea, no name. We didnât know exactly what or how to do it, just the eagerness to play and bring something to the city in a moment when the underground scene was almost nonexistent. Then, after a tragic event (our beloved Daisy passed away tragically) and with the aim of celebrating her and life, 50 Fishes was born.
We started small in July 2019, just a few friends (maybe 30 max??), no entrance fee, only local djs (thanks to our friend Mike Lemur to be our first Dj guest), we keep going with the support from Cementen and our friends, due we knew we where doing something different, something real, we where creating a space to gather, to listen different music; a space where music hit deeper, where the night had no rules, and where you could be fully, wildly yourself.
After only 6 events, the COVID pandemic hit and we needed to cancel our event in March 2020. However, Cementen allows us to use the club and we continue 50 Fishes, but this time livestreaming working together with our friend Ivi Mo on the visuals. From Cementen we moved to Ivi basement atelier, several editions of our livestreaming were done to have some fun while we were doing what we love, sharing music. Also, we celebrated our first anniversary with a great full sunny day and night at Ogna beach and at the end of 2021 we were able to come back and dance together again!!!!
During these 6 years we faced several challenges, shared a lot of music, met new colleagues and our community grew, at the same time that we danced and had fun!! We changed, the crowd grew, DJs from other cities started to come, an entrance fee appeared, international DJs started to come, new decorations, we introduced a VJ (VJ MYS), our visuals improved and we continue doing what we love.
What started as a thought, today is a reality, a movement, a dream come true
This anniversary isnât just about us â itâs about everyone who stayed âtil the lights came on. Every DJ who gave their soul to the set. Every person who showed up not for hype, but for connection, vibration, and release.
Now, we gather once more to celebrate the chaos and the calm, the noise and the nuance, the past, the present and the future.

A special thanks to Cementen and its crew for always having a great vibe, helping us and being the only place in town where you can find every weekend underground electronic music every weekend, giving new artists a spot, bringing international DJs, letting us do what we love and letting us be.
