Join us for A Night With Scott Miller & Special Guest Boxcar Speakeasy!

Scott Miller, a Knoxville Music Hall of Fame member and Virginia, native is performing a benefit concert for Valley Supportive Housing at the Black Friars Theater in Staunton, Va. on May 18th, 2025 with special guests and local legends, Boxcar Speakeasy. 100% of proceeds will go to the organization. Valley Supportive Housing is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing to individuals with serious mental illness. We currently have 68 apartments that house individuals, most of whom have come out of homelessness. We have MOU's with Valley Community Service Board, Valley Mission, Warm Shelter, Halls Community Services, and New Directions, all of which provide support services to our tenants. Currently our apartments rent for $729 per month and includes all utilities, cable, and laundry facilities. Some of our tenants have external subsidies that cover most or all of their rent. The majority do not have external subsidies so we provide an internal subsidy that brings the average monthly payment for the tenant to $550. The rents provide about 75% of our expenses and we rely on fundraising and grants to cover the remaining costs. Please join us in our fight against homelessness.
