End of Summer Bash

Hosted by Statesville Recreation & Parks and Village Intervention Partnership (VIP), the End of Summer Bash is a free community celebration held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It brings families together for a day of fun, support, and back-to-school readiness.

Students will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies, and community partners will be on-site offering clothing, shoes, hygiene items, and other helpful resources. The Statesville Police and Fire Departments will be grilling free hot dogs, and the event also features music, kids’ activities, games, and more.

Whether you're looking to give back, volunteer, or simply enjoy a great day with your neighbors, the End of Summer Bash is all about lifting up our community and setting students up for success. Vendors and community partners are encouraged to share free resources, giveaways, and helpful information to support families as they prepare for the new school year.

COLLECTION DATES: June 2 – July 18, 2025

Let’s come together to make back-to-school season brighter for our local students! The End of Summer Bash is just around the corner—a fun-filled event where kids will receive FREE backpacks and essential school supplies to start the new year with confidence.

But we can’t do it without YOU, Statesville!

We’re calling on the community to help make this event a success by donating new school supplies during our Supply Drive, running from June 2 to July 18, 2025. Your support ensures that every student leaves prepared and excited for the school year ahead.
