Scottish Highland Dance Beginner Trial Class
Interested in learning the Highland Fling or a Sword Dance? First, you'll need to learn the steps and the techniques - come join us and try out a free first class in Scottish Highland Dance with master Sian Packard.

Scottish Highland Dance is a type of traditional folk dancing that dates back to the 11th or 12th century in Scotland. In fact, both modern ballet and square dancing can trace their roots back to the Highlands.

Wear clothing and shoes you can move about in.

Highland dance is different from other forms of dance in that it's a symbol of the Scottish tradition. So not only does it provide wonderful exercise, there is the music and the feeling that you are experiencing a bit of Scottish tradition firsthand.
