Elijah Snyder Presents: Sweeney Todd @ Manny's Aug 9

Joined by a group of rising young musicians, saxophonist Elijah Snyder presents the world premiere of his reimagination of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The show's dense rhythms and complex harmony provide the perfect foundation for improvisation and experimentation. This collision of worlds is sure to delight jazz and musical theatre fans alike.

Elijah Snyder is a saxophonist and multiinstrumentalist from State College, PA. Steeped in the music of legends like Kenny Garrett, Miguel Zenon, Prince, and Ahmad Jamal, Elijah plays with a joyful intensity that lights up the room. In the early stages of his career, he is not afraid to take risks as he solidifies his position in this vast musical world.
