Barefoot trimming workshop (1Day)
Sunday the 24th of August 2025.
With a few false starts with booking on snowflakes festival and then and another event, now we have a date.
I have made an inquiry with Andrew and his team from The Barefoot Blacksmith to come and run another one day standard barefoot trimming workshop at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds.
For some of us this will be revision. You must have completed this one day workshop to qualify for the advanced 2 day workshop which I will endeavour to book in either later in the year, or earlier in 2026.
I am looking for at least 6 full participants (bring horse and trim your own horse under supervision) and 6 auditors (you do not bring your own horse, you observe others trimming their horses in the second part of the day)
I am looking for people who are genuinely interested to put their names down which will allow the team to book us in for the 2025 circuit.
Approximate price
Full participant $300 Bring your own horse to trim.
Auditor $200 no horse to trim but involved in the whole day and watch others trim their own horses.
Last time I supplied the tea and coffee and a snacks for breaks at my cost which I will do again. BYO lunch and drinks (or duck to the shops for lunch)
This workshop will teach you how to maintain your horse between trims, or start the process of trimming your own.
