The event everyones been waiting for. This is open to barrel racers all ages. Must ride a competitive horse MUST NOT HOLD A RODEO CARD (WPRA, PRCA OR IPRA) Any other card/membership is acceptable. The rodeo runs rain or shine. Once your entry is in you must ride. You must have a veterinarian excuse for your horse not to ride. If you dont ride and dont have vet excuse you will not be accepted the following year. If you feel you may slip just ride slower. Footing in this arena is usually very good.
Entry is $75.00. checks wrote to the STPR Inc. You can run only one horse. Your spot is not guaranteed until we receive payment, form and coggins. Please return entries by June 6th. You will be on a list at the back gate. you can contact me. 715-669-3272 for any questions. Anyone else with you will have to pay admission.
Must have a copy current negative coggins as of the dates of the rodeo or you dont ride.
There is only 24 entries each night of the rodeo. Each nights event starts at 7:30 pm. Parade is saturday afternoon we would like anyone who is participating in the rodeo to ride in the parade. we would like a lot of rodeo presence.
If you are riding with someone please write their name on your form If they are competing also.
If you can only ride one specific night please indicate that its the only night you can ride. I try to get everyones first choice but does not always happen.
Pay out will be to 8 places total from entries from both nights.. Winners will be sent checks or you can pick up after Saturday nights rodeo.
Draw and entries will be posted on the Stanley barrel racing page which also can be found on the Bar BK Leatherworks page. Times and placings will be posted here also.
Dress code: long sleeve button up shirt, boots with heels, pants, and cowboy hat with stampede string or make sure it doesnt leave you.
If you have sponsors they will not be announced. Best way is to pin advertising to pad or shirt or have shirt with embroidery or advertising.
There is camping it is across the road from park entrance. Recommend parking there also with horses. There is a small warm up area and lights.
Please be on time ready to go someone will be there to line you up. If you are not there for any reason when you are called you will not run. You will go into a chute/lane to start run you will exit out the gate. No running from the back lot. Enter lane right after previous rider is out the gate. keep the rodeo going.
