Parbold Hill & Ashurst Beacon Walk

Having ‘recced’ this ten (& a bit? 🫣🤣) miler (with 337m of elevation) a few weeks back, we’d love to return. We’ll start by Parbold Hill (near Standish) & stroll to Ashurst Beacon on Sunday 31/8 (as originally planned) with a potential lunch stop halfway at Beacon Country Park & beverages (& food?) at The White Lion Wrightington after (booking required!)… car sharing advised as the start lay-by isn’t huge… let us know if you’d like to join….

Stepping off at 11am from a lay-by between Wrightington Hospital & Parbold hill itself.
