Sunday Sessions presents Side By Side

We cordially invite you to an afternoon of smooth acoustic folk, country and pop with a twist.

Meg & Dave have recently formed Side by Side to bring amazing harmonies and melodies to venues around the region.

After the Masons Arms’s first open mic in November 2024, Dave offered to accompany Meg on future open mic nights. They first performed together in December and both felt a bit of magic. Thus, the duo Side by Side was born.

They have an eclectic acoustic set ranging from folk to pop to country and even some re-imagined disco and rock songs.

Meg is originally from Chicago and her early musical experience is limited to high school and university choirs (and to her teachers’ dismay bursting into song whenever she felt moved to). However, she is currently also the lead singer of The Meg Bryson Band, which covers modern country.

Dave has been playing in blues, rock and soul bands for over 30 years and is currently also the lead guitarist for the Bourne band, Totally Anchored.

Free entry for all, with a free communal car park.
