North X North Fest - Volume 2.
We return with the mighty North X North Fest this summer for our second instalment. An all-day, open-air free music event held at the 'world famous' Stalybridge Buffet Bar situated on Platform 4 of the Stalybridge Train Station on August 2nd 2025.

Mancunian Industrial experimentalists: Prangers will be performing a set like no other, with found sounds and instruments they build sound into a rhythmic dervish of percussion and electronics. Not to be missed.
🟠 FFINN (Dj Set)
Singapore-born, Bristol-based, artist, label owner and DJ will be headlining our dance section of the events, playing choice music from the genres of dubstep, trip-hop, 140, Electronic Bass Music and much more to get us moving, Having toured extensively in the US and performed here in the UK at events such as Shambala, Balter Festival and Bangface we can expect high energy and passion.
🟡 Dead Sea Apes
Having laid waste to the back room of the Buffet Bar last September (NXNW Vol 8) we knew we needed to bring these chaps back for the summer festival, Shoe-gaze laced with a heavy dose of driven guitars and psychedelia we’re going to be going on a sonic adventure. Blissed out, progressive and warming sense of heavy is to be expected.
🟢 Blob Halford
This magnificent duo have been blowing up around the Manchester scene of late. This 2-piece desert-rock power-house of a band brings a message of positivity, self-love and acceptance delivered by the medium of distorted guitars and crushing drums.
🔵 O.R.K.O Click
This mysterious masked duo perform their own special brand of big beat hip-hop with both live vocals and beats. Known for mangling all forms of physical media into heavy rhythms with excellent vocal delivery to create O.R.K.O Click.
🟣 Thread Weaponry (DJ Set)
We have the artists also known as Gore Tech and Mercy System, Local producers and DJ’s on board to play some of their own productions as well as a whole bag of summer-time dubstep and drum and bass music to round out the festival.
⚫️ The Saddleworth Women’s Morris & Clog
We have a very special group of performers here to open the festival officially, They are known also as the ‘The Hares’ and will be performing traditional Morris & Clog dances, Complete with musical accompaniment. With August being a very special time of year for the community with the Saddleworth Rushcart just round the corner we’re honoured they’ll be able to join us to celebrate traditional music
⚪️ Luke Warren (Vinyl DJ Set)
We have North X Northwest resident and long-time supporter Luke Warren DJing and extended set of feel-good, high-energy music on vinyl from his vast collection, expect choice cuts from dub, hip-hop, disco, club and beyond.
💀 Northern Lord (Vinyl DJ Set)
Hosting this event we have none-other than the North X Northwest last boss: Northern Lord, to kick us off, another vinyl set consisting of world music, folk, dub, and probably a fair amount of old-skool heavy metal.
We of course will have special beers brewed for the occasion by the staff of the Stalybridge Buffet Bar and Riverhead Brewery over in Marsden, Special limited edition merch as well as proper food cooked right here on site.
