In these sessions, All Kids Belong (AKB) hopes to remind professionals of their important role, and how they are making a difference in their daily interactions. With this recognition in mind, they will focus on key factors that influence how professionals care for themselves and others. In this 2-part series, AKB will focus on key factors that can influence how professionals care for themselves and others, and how self-care is essential in enabling them to continue to make a difference. This series will touch on, and then summarize, the importance of: Self-care; Stress management; Mindfulness; Self-awareness; Self-regulation; Viewing behaviour through kind eyes; Bias; Personal boundaries; and, Self-reflection.
