Afterward, KC shares culture and folklore around tea while preparing a traditional Chinese Gong Fu Cha tea service experience. Gong Fu Cha means to make and drink tea with intention, attention and style.
We will enjoy the tea, Green Orchid, over many short steeps to experience how the flavors unfold and blossom from steep to steep. You are invited to tune in to the Qi of the tea and its effect on you. Tea service is accompanied by dried apricots, an Asian rice cracker medley, sesame honey cashews, and brown butter mochi muffin.
Sunny uses intentional sound, breath practices, and relaxation techniques as tools to support health and well-being. She incorporates crystal and metal singing bowls, rattles, chimes, tuning forks, and percussion instruments into an immersive full-body sensory experience for self-healing.
This event includes mat, pillow, eye cover, knee bolster, blanket, water, tea and refreshments. It is held on the upper deck of Sunny's home in a retreat-style setting. You must be able to climb stairs.
