Let us guide you on a paddleboard adventure!
Shell Key is a beautiful destination in St Pete that can only be reached by boat or paddle out. Within view of Ft Desoto beaches it's not a great distance away but it gets you to some less crowded, more pristine areas.
We will be departing from a free parking lot near Ft Desoto. I've marked it on the location map on this page. Head towards Ft Desoto on the Pinellas Bayway S. You will see a large dirt parking lot on the right hand side of the road. You can park there for free and we will put our boards and kayaks in near the mangroves.
The paddle is safe and not too challenging, please bring friends and family! We will depart around 9:20am to give people a chance to get to the lot and prepare your kayaks or paddleboards for the adventure.
Please bring your own water, snacks, games, and sun shelters if you want them. We anticipate coming back around noon because of the heat but stay as long as you would like!
If you do not have a paddleboard or kayak and would like to join us please reply to this email and let me know. We could probably borrow one!
