Minnesota State Capitol Grounds
Minnesota Recovery Connection’s Walk for Recovery, will be bigger and better than ever in 2025! Join us for Minnesota’s premiere all-recovery event, a day for everyone and anyone to celebrate recovery and break the stigma associated with substance used disorder.
10:00 – 3:00: Exhibitors open, food trucks available, music and other activities available. (See details below.) Onsite registration opens at 9:30.
10:30-1:15: Music and Entertainment
1:15-1:25: All attendees assemble for start of the walk.
1:25 pm: Opening Remarks. Recognition of Sponsors and top Individual & team fundraisers
1:35 pm: Recovery Honor Guard photo on Capitol steps. Individuals with 10 or more years in personal or family recovery are invited to step forward for a special group photo. Please get your Recovery Honor Guard “badge” from the booth near registration and check in.
1:40 pm: Group Photo on the Capitol steps. Be part of the World’s Largest Recovery Photo!
1:45 pm: Walk for Recovery begins! Gather your team together or join in with the crowd. The Walk will circle the Capitol grounds (approximately 1.2 miles).
2 pm – 3 pm: Photo Finish! Get your individual or group photo taken with the “Recovery Works” banner when you finish the walk. Photos will be available on Flickr: flickr.com/photos/mnrecoveryconnection/albums
ASL interpretation provided at Main stage performances and presentations and during Walk welcoming remarks. Please check in at the MRC Booth if you need additional ASL interpretation at the event.
Free parking is available near the Capitol grounds
