Join us on September 18th for an inspiring evening of storytelling, conversation, and community as we celebrate the resilience of families and the power of support. Learn more about the work STAR House is doing and how you can be part of creating a space where kids can be kids, no matter what their families are facing.
Guided by Nyia Harris of Nyia Harris, LLC, we’ll watch clips from Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope, a documentary exploring how communities are breaking cycles of violence, addiction, and disease.
After the film, we’ll hear from an inspiring panel:
Sarah Ellefson – Founder & Executive Director, STAR House
Dianne Haulcy – Assistant Commissioner, MN Department of Children, Youth & Families
Brandon Jones – Executive Director, Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health
Appetizers and beverages will be served. Registration fees are flexible, pay-what-you-can: from $10–$50. Every registration brings us one step closer to ensuring children in Ramsey County have the care and stability they deserve.
