Life brings challenges: stress, illness, grief, and the weight of the world around us. That’s why I want to invite you to an evening designed to speak directly to the heart of what it means to be human.
On Thursday, October 2, from 6:30–8:00 PM at Lumen Christi, we’re hosting Getting Open, a night of honest conversation about mental health, faith, and resilience.
Our speakers are two remarkable voices who know the courage it takes to be vulnerable and the hope that faith can bring:
~Lindsey Young, writer and editor for the Minnesota Vikings, will share her personal journey and the impact of her Getting Open series, which has broken down stigma and opened doors to healing.
~Erik Westrum, former Golden Gopher and NHL player and leadership coach, will speak about transformation rooted in emotional, spiritual, and personal growth. His story reminds us that resilience is possible, even in life’s hardest moments.
This evening is for adults and offers something meaningful for everyone, whether you’re in a tough season yourself or simply want to walk with a deeper understanding alongside your children and community.
Come as you are. Leave with courage, faith, and connection.
