Featuring the fall 2025 One Book | One Minnesota selection by The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, Hamline University is excited to host a conversation with author and Hamline Creative Writing professor emerita, Sheila O'Connor, English faculty Kris Deffenbacher, and MFA alumni/author, Mubanga Kalimamukwento. Join us for a discussion of the history of incarcerating "immoral" girls in Minnesota, the policing of reproductive rights, the purpose of sealed files past and present, and the power of archival excavation.
