Who: All walkers, runners and volunteers are welcome!
ďż˝ Just register once at parkrun.us to get your personal barcode, then you can take part at any parkrun around the world.
What:
Como Park parkrun event #18!!! ďż˝ Jeremy is going to be your run director for this event, and Deb will have her debut giving the briefing!
It is the most exciting thing to happen at Como Lake since event #18!!!
Where: At Lakeside Pavilion at Como Park. You can also do a quick Google map search for 'Como Park parkrun' to take you to the starting point. After turning into the parking lot, look for a parkrun banner and a bunch of folks wearing reflective vests.
Oh, and they also have heated restrooms near the starting area.
When:
Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at 9:00 - and the event repeats every Saturday.
If the unexpected happens --- bad weather etc, we may postpone the event a week. We will do our best to provide as much advanced notice as possible on both the Parkrun website and this Facebook event and page.
Why:
Because it is a great way to get healthy, meet new friends and spend a Saturday morning.
Parkrun is a volunteer-led, free to participate weekly timed 5 kilometer walk/run. It isn't a race, and it is talent neutral. Afterwards, we will meet at Dock & Paddle (a nearby coffee shop) for treats and time processing.
In addition to getting a drink, they also now serve breakfast!
