Join us for a river-focused conversation with St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter.
The town hall-style meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center in the auditorium. Check-in begins promptly at 6 p.m.
We’ll hear about Mayor Carter’s vision for the Mississippi River in St. Paul, and the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions about the issues facing different riverfront neighborhoods. That includes:
- The city’s progress on its riverfront neighborhood plans
- The yearslong delay in adopting the required Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area riverfront development ordinance
- Future cleanup of the Ford Area C dumpsite,
- And anything else you'd like to share with Mayor Carter about the river
