Come along to our hands-on pottery class where you’ll be guided step-by-step to make your very own ceramic house lantern out of clay using the slab-building technique. Whether you fancy a cosy cottage, spooky tower, fairy-tale house or even a gingerbread home, you'll have the freedom to personalise it however you like!
Once finished, we’ll glaze and fire your piece – ready to pop a tealight inside and bring a warm glow to your home.
In this 3-hour pottery workshop, you’ll:
👩🎓 Learn slab-building basics – a key hand-building method in pottery making.
🎨 Build & decorate your own ceramic house – shape, assemble and customise with underglazes in your favourite colours, all in one session!
👩🏫 Be guided every step of the way – in a relaxed and welcoming environment with support from our friendly team.
✨ Workshop Details:
Skill Level: No experience needed – beginner-friendly and suitable for all levels
Ages: Adults and children aged 8+
Duration: Approx. 3 hours
Includes: All materials, tools, clay, underglazes and professional glazing and kiln firing
What to bring: It can get a bit messy, so bring an apron if you like – but don’t worry, our clay and underglazes wash out easily!
