"Reckoning" is a beloved double-album of acoustic music released by the Grateful Dead in 1981, and Sean Canan's Voodoo Players are thrilled to bring the entire release to the City Winery stage! The nature of the songs lends itself to a listening-room atmosphere, and classics like "Must Have Been The Roses", "Bird Song", and "Ripple" will sound pristine. Sean Canan's Voodoo Players began as a weekly jam at the Broadway Oyster Bar in January 2014 with Sean Canan at the helm of a revolving cast of numerous, talented musicians from the St. Louis region. SCVP celebrates and brings to life renowned works from a wide array of artists such as Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Phish, Blues Brothers, and Neil Young, with more than 80 different themed shows since the band's inception. There is no other band in the St. Louis area that will tackle the multitude of musical creations with such tenacity and energy.
