Elle Vulf, also known as L. Wolf, is a Midwestern techno artist raised between Kansas City and Detroit, where the spirit of electronic music first took form. With over a decade behind the decks, her sets are a tribute to the grit, glamour, and raw energy that shaped her—from fashion weeks by day to underground dancefloors by night.
An editorial stylist and makeup artist by trade, Elle Vulf was born as an alter ego during an on-set brainstorm, but came to life in dark warehouses and ultra clubs. Her creativity and connection to techno was never accidental, flowing from her Detroit roots and sharpened by her Kansas City edge.
Elle made history as Kansas City’s first all-techno female DJ, curating her own three-year residency at Niche KC, and co-launching Electrosexual—the city’s first underground LGBTQ dance community. In 2019, she sparked a revival in the local rave scene just one month after Niche shuttered, drawing 220 heads and offering a new haven for dancers and dreamers alike.
Now the founder of A.M. Static, Elle Vulf continues to craft her vision through sound and creative direction—always focused on the next step, the next set, and the evolving language of the dancefloor.
