Taylor Steele plays on the outdoor patio Friday evening. She will be accompanied by her longtime drummer of the Love Preachers. This show will be rhythmic, percussive, & bluesy. Taylor hails from Collinsville, IL and has been on stage since she was 5 years old. She grew up playing music with her family and singing in bars all across metro east St. Louis. She has written heartfelt, creative, and unique original songs since she was 11 years old.
Now living in Effingham, IL, she has had a powerful and tightly performing 4-piece band for 8 years with two studio albums of her original music.
Her influences span across a broad spectrum with cajun, country blues, soul, funk, western swing, & bluegrass elements. All in all, her presence on stage is magnetic, captivating, contagious, and authentically original.
