Summer Library Game Jam 2025

This is the St. Louis Public Library’s first ever Summer Library Game Jam! We will be hosting all game makers in Creative Experience for a quick one day game jam. All skill levels welcome, seasoned game makers and first timers! There will be a bit of facilitation from STL Game Dev and SLPL staff, but otherwise its a free for all game development crunchtime event. Work alone or with a team, the only thing that matters is using the supplied theme! The theme will be announced during the opening ceremony on July 26th at 10am in the Central Library’s Creative Experience.

There will be free wifi and some computers available for participants to use, but supplies are limited. You are also welcome to bring your own machines to work on. You aren’t required to work at the library the entire time, but the space will be held for participants to use for collaboration.

All games will need to be uploaded before 1:30pm on Sunday July 27th.

Instructions for uploading will be available during the opening ceremony.
