Please invite your friends to this group and event page!! We also have a public event page on our Temple’s Facebook page. Come to the Edge, where Spirit dwells!
Some of the items for sale at our booth will include... Hand-crafted items, ritually charged lovelies including the fabulous energy of our sabbat ritual charged tokens, herbs, roots and seeds, magickal books, tools, potions, essences, tinctures, decorations, jewelry and so much more!! We should have a few plant babies this year. We will have our usual double booth with LOTS of goodies so come check us out!! 😊
And we will have LOTS of great energy to enjoy and happy smiling faces and great energy!
Community Outreach ...
We will have information to share with everyone on Spirit's Edge Shamonial Temple, Spirit's Edge: A Seeker's Salon and our Public Sabbat Rituals & Salons, the Spirit's Edge Mystery School (Online One Year Apprenticeships in Witchcraft, Shamanism & Magick) and HPS Kassia's other classes (online pre-recorded video classes and live St. Louis Community College classes).
We have much to celebrate again this year at Pagan Picnic! Come celebrate with us! Spirit's Edge was founded Jan. 1, 2010 - 14+ years of the Great Work! The spirit of our Spirit's Edge community and the tapestry it has woven, and continues to weave, is so beautiful. In 2012, we started our continuous run of public sabbat rituals at Mabon! ... Our Temple is flourishing as is our Mystery School! Our Mystery School was founded in 2013 and is in its 11th year already! … Our Temple is in the process of seeking our status as a federally recognized 501C3 religious organization; it was put off due to covid and we hope to have more on that soon.
We have a beautiful new home for our sabbat rituals! We are doing half of our public sabbat rituals in-person at a very witchy indoor cabin/shelter - the Henry Babler Shelter - at Babler State Park, about 1.5 miles past the visitor's center on Guy Park Dr. (daytime rituals) – Midsummer, Mabon, Samhain & Ostara. The other half of our rituals are virtual rituals online so that our wider membership can participate (evening rituals) – Yule, Imbolc & Beltane – and they have had amazing energy!
To volunteer at our booth and/or to donate items to our booth...
Please email HPS Kassia S. Morgan at
cmF2aW5zNTIyNTIgfCBteXBhY2tzICEgbmV0 or message her via our Temple FB page at
https://www.facebook.com/SpiritsEdgeShamonialTemple. We're also especially seeking LOTS of volunteers this year for loading up and setting up on Friday, May 30! That includes packing and loading up at HPS Kassia’s house in the morning and then especially LOTS of volunteers setting up in the park at Noon running into that evening. AND we need vehicles that Friday morning to load up and then Sunday evening to take things back to my house. You don’t need any special knowledge – we will teach you everything that you need to know about volunteering! It’s a great way to get to know the community in a safe space, have a “home base” for Picnic and get to know everyone! It is SO FUN!! 😊
Spirit's Edge booth volunteers...
We are also seeking Spirit’s Edge volunteers to staff the Spirit's Edge booth in shifts, including volunteer coordinators to split up management of the booth, and also in advance of Pagan Picnic to prepare hand-crafted and donated items to sell to support our Spirit's Edge Shamonial Temple effort to obtain our Federal 501c3.
Details for Spirit's Edge booth donations...
We are seeking donated and handcrafted items to sell. Ideas for booth items could include but are not limited to: candles; herb pouches; dream pouches; other types of bags, charms, pouches; knitted, needlepoint, other related items; magickal or spiritual or nature related artwork; soaps; wreaths; pentagrams; quarter markers; dream catchers; besoms; rattles; Witch's Spell or Ritual kit bags or Witch's Cords/kits; chakra balancing gemstones or kits; bath salts; talismans; runes sets; altar related items and decor, etc., just to name a few ideas. Please, where possible and it won’t damage the items, sanitize the items prior to donating them (due to covid).
For items handcrafted for a purpose, we are focused on four purposes for the items at the booth – Prosperity / Success, Love, Healing and Protection - with all items ethically crafted and using the intention of "for the highest good of all, harming none" with a general magickal purpose (of prosperity, love, healing or protection) so they are applicable to all who come to the booth.
We also are interested in used magickal, shaman or witchcraft- related books and altar or other magickal items that wish to be re-homed. Though we will cleanse them to neutralize their energy before being placed at the booth, please sever your connection with any magickal tools that you donate. Please also, where possible and it won’t damage the items, sanitize the items prior to donating them (due to covid).
Many thanks to the Picnic staff!...
Many thanks also to all those who go to the hard work of putting on the Picnic! We are really looking forward to our booth again this year, which would not be possible without the hard work of the Picnic staff. Also, please "like" and follow the Pagan Picnic’s Facebook page directly at
https://www.facebook.com/STLPaganPicnic; its website is www.paganpicnic.org. And we will again donate items to the Pagan Picnic for its raffle to support Picnic, so check that out while you're at Picnic. Of course, the Picnic always is seeking volunteers too, so when you're not volunteering at our booth or hanging out at our booth, you can always also volunteer to help out Picnic too.
Many blessings and we all look forward to seeing you at Picnic this year!
