Memorial Day Observance

Begin your Memorial Day with the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Soldiers Memorial. This one-hour program will include the laying of wreaths at the memorials in the Court of Honor in recognition of those St. Louisans who made the ultimate sacrifice in service. Soldiers Memorial will provide flowers for all attendees to lay at the memorials.

This is also your final day to view "Ghost Army: The Combat Con Artists of World War II." This exhibit explores the story of US Army’s 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, a top-secret unit who waged war with inflatable tanks and vehicles, fake radio traffic, sound effects, and even phony generals.

The exhibit is organized by The National WWII Museum and presented by the E.L. Wiegand Foundation. Additional local support provided by Veterans United Foundation.
