LaunchCode's 2025 GeekGala

Welcome to LaunchCode's 2025 GeekGala!

Come out and party with us as we uplift the success stories of our graduates, highlight the innovation of our employer partners, and celebrate twelve years of LaunchCode making pathways to tech careers more accessible to all.

Not only is this a fun way to give back to LaunchCode and reunite with old friends, but it's also a great event to network and meet other people from the extended LaunchCode community! We'll be bringing together LaunchCode participants, alumni, employers, staff, board members and other community partners who make our innovative workforce development pipeline possible.

Enjoy many exciting event elements, including:

• a chance to hear success stories of graduates
• a chance to hear about LaunchCode's work and future direction from leaders
• delicious food truck meals
• an open bar
• project demos from current students
• a red carpet entrance
• video games and board games
• a photo booth
• exclusive LaunchCode swag only available at GeekGala
• a live DJ with music that will get you moving
• valet parking
• and much more!

All proceeds from this event will support LaunchCode's no charge tech training and career placement programs, ensuring that even more community members will have opportunities to pursue well-paid, family-sustaining tech careers in the future.

Event Schedule:

6 - 7:30 p.m.

Doors open and the celebration begins!

7:30 - 8 p.m.

A brief program for the evening, including:

• words from LaunchCode leaders.
• awards in honor of a stellar LC alum, an impactful employer partner, a generous community partner, and an examplary staff member.
• a call to give back and other ways to get involve with LaunchCode in 2025 and beyond.

8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The party continues and our live DJ will be playing in the latter half of the event.

General Admission tickets are $100, and will include a complimentary meal from one of our food trucks, access to the open bar, exclusive LaunchCode swag items, and opportunity to experience all of the unique event elements. This ticket level will likely include a tax-deductible portion donated back to LaunchCode to support our programs and services.

Budget Friendly tickets are $25, and will include access to the open bar and the opportunity to experince most of the unique program elements. These attendees can still purchase their own dinner from food trucks, but will not receive exclusive swag. This ticket level will likely NOT include a tax-deductible portion donated back to LaunchCode. These tickets will be available to one month prior to the event on Sept. 9.
