City of Maryland Heights 40th Anniversary - Saturday (FREE)

Join us for our final day of celebrating the city's 40th anniversary on Saturday, May 10! This event is FREE to attend! Tickets are not required to attend this event.

Carnival Quiet Hour: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
The carnival will open early Saturday morning for a quiet hour, intended for those who have sound and crowd sensitivities.

40th Anniversary Parade: Begins at 10:30 a.m.
The 40th Anniversary Parade will start at the Maryland Heights Government Center and end Weldon Pkwy. and Fee Fee Rd. Be sure to grab your viewing spot before the roads close at 10:30 a.m. (See parade dropdown for full map.)

Carnival Rides & Games: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
A variety of rides for all ages. Tickets are $1.25 each or $20 for 22 – cash only.

Buckeye International Vendor Row: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Shop from local craft vendors and small businesses.

Opening Ceremony: Begins at noon
Reflect on Maryland Heights history with us and begin the day with the national anthem performed by retired St. Louis Blues anthem singer Charles Glenn. Free cupcake giveaway following speeches (while supplies last).

Music & Performers: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Ice Sculpture Artist: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Clydesdale Horse Photo Op.: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Free photo opportunity. Includes printed photo.

Face Painting & Caricature Artists: 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Fireworks Display: 9:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Enjoy a final fireworks show from the carnival area, lid area, and plaza green space. Fireworks will be shot from the top of Parking Lot 4 (see map).
